Accessibility
Built to be used by everyone.
Oliu™ is a credential network for all Canadians. We design, build, and test to WCAG 2.2 Level AA — and we treat accessibility defects as real defects.
Our commitment
Oliu™ Inc. is committed to providing an accessible experience across the Oliu™ website, the Oliu™ Wallet, and the Oliu™ credential network. We aim to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and we design to the Accessible Canada Act where it applies.
What this means in practice
Every page provides a real heading hierarchy and a skip-to-content link. Every visual element carries meaningful alternative text or is marked as decorative. Interactive controls are reachable by keyboard, with visible focus states. Colour is never the only way information is conveyed. Motion is used sparingly, and reduced-motion preferences are respected.
How we test
During development, every page is reviewed against the WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria using a combination of automated tooling and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks at our three supported breakpoints (1440, 768, and 375). Accessibility defects are tracked and fixed alongside functional defects, not separately.
Known limitations
This page is a placeholder — the final accessibility statement, including any known limitations and remediation timelines, will be published before the network opens to third-party issuers.
Report an accessibility issue
If something on Oliu™ is inaccessible to you, please let us know. Email hello@oliu.ca with a description of what you were trying to do, the page you were on, and any assistive technology you were using. We'll acknowledge your message and open a tracked issue.
